Alesia Schaefer

Alesia Schaefer has been an Arkansas Catholic reporter and columnist from Northwest Arkansas for more than 11 years. A member of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Rogers, she is the head cross country coach at Ozark Catholic Academy in Tontitown. With her husband, George, she is taking part in the diaconate formation program.

Ministry: More Catholic foster families needed in state

Around 520 participants attended the Northwest Arkansas March for Life Jan. 29 to walk 1.4 miles from St. Vincent de Paul Parish to the First Baptist Church on Olive Street in Rogers. Groups from different faiths and organizations participated in this peaceful celebration of life following the overturning of Roe vs. Wade in June.
