Three Catholic high school seniors who recently graduated in Little Rock were among 2,900 winners of National Merit Scholarships financed by U.S. colleges and universities. Officials of each sponsor college selected their scholarship winners from among the finalists in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program who planned to attend their institution. These awards will provide between $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study. They are Mount St. Mary Academy graduates Rebecca L. Burnett, who is attending the University of Mississippi, and Savannah G. Eanes, who is attending the University of Arkansas, and Walker Williams-Frueauff from Catholic High School, who is studying at the University of Arkansas.
