The Ninth Annual Slovak Heritage Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, Feb. 24 at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Parish in Slovak. Festivities will begin with Mass to honor our patron saints, Cyril and Methodius, celebrated by Father Shaun Wesley at 2 p.m. Exhibits of all types will be on display in the parish hall for guests to view, along with visiting and presentations by UpRooted Media and presentation of the book, "Slovak Settlers" by Global Slovakia. UpRooted Media is doing the Slovaktown, Ark., documentary. At 5:45 p.m. the Heritage Potluck Supper will begin. Bring your favorite Slovakian or other family dishes and drinks to share. Roll Out the Barrel with Polka music and dancing begins at 7 p.m.
