Bishop Taylor announces pastoral appointments

Bishop Anthony B. Taylor announced the following pastoral appointments:

Effective Feb. 13

  • Rev. Gilbert Tairo, CSSp, appointed pastor of St. Michael Church in West Memphis and Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Crawfordsville. This is in addition to his current responsibilities as pastor of St. Mary of the Lake Church in Horseshoe Lake and St. Francis of Assisi Church in Forrest City. He is relieved of his responsibilities as pastor of St. Mary Church in Helena and St. John the Baptist Church in Brinkley.
     
  • Rev. James Ibeh, CSSp, appointed from associate pastor to parish administrator of St. Mary Church in Helena, St. Andrew Church in Marianna and St. John the Baptist Church in Brinkley. He is relieved of his responsibilities as associate pastor of St. Mary of the Lake Church in Horseshoe Lake and St. Francis of Assisi Church in Forrest City.
     
  • Rev. Charles Thessing, relieved of his responsibilities as pastor of St. Michael Church in West Memphis and Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Crawfordsville to become senior priest.
