St. Joseph School in Conway won a scholarship from the 16th Annual Kids Run Arkansas, presented by Conway Regional Health and Fitness Center, April 19. The run promotes fun and fitness by rewarding area schools with scholarships for their physical education programs based on the highest participation percentage of each school. The participants competed on a one-mile or three-mile run or walk along Tucker Creek. The scholarship checks were awarded at the fitness center May 14 to each school's physical education teacher. Brent Bruich accepted a $3,500 scholarship for St. Joseph School’s first place.
