Conozca a los nuevos diáconos de 2022

El Obispo Anthony B. Taylor ordenará a 46 diáconos permanentes para la diócesis a las 10 a.m., sábado, 11 de junio en la Iglesia de Cristo Rey en Little Rock y a las 10 a.m., sábado, 25 de junio en la Iglesia de San Vicente de Paúl en Rogers.

Estos hombres y sus esposas comenzaron el proceso de discernimiento en 2016 y oficialmente comenzaron su capacitación en 2017. Alrededor de 130 hombres que discernieron el llamado al diaconado se reunieron mensualmente en grupos pequeños, 85 hombres se postularon para el programa y 69 fueron aceptados.

Incluso durante el apogeo de la pandemia COVID, los candidatos al diaconado continuaron reuniéndose en línea y en persona. Los 35 diáconos de habla inglesa se reunieron mensualmente en el Centro San Juan en Little Rock y en línea, mientras que los 11 diáconos de habla hispana se reunieron en la Abadía Subiaco.

Los diáconos ministrarán en su parroquia local a menos que se indique lo contrario.
