Jubilee year plans for 2025 announced by diocese, Father Guido says

The Diocese of Little Rock is beginning its plans for the Holy Year, starting Dec. 29, according to coordinator Father Juan Guido. The Jubilee will open with Mass at the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Little Rock Sunday, Dec. 29. The congregation will assemble at 2:30 p.m. outside St. Edward Church for the rite of the opening of the holy door and process a half a mile to the cathedral. A bilingual Mass will be celebrated at 3:15 p.m. with the rite of opening of the holy door. After Mass, parishioners are invited to a reception in McDonald Hall.

Jubilee celebrations will be held June 14, 2025, at St. Raphael Church in Springdale and June 28, 2025, at Christ the King Church in Little Rock. The jubilee year will close Dec. 28, 2025, with a Mass at the Cathedral of St. Andrew. Times have not yet been determined for these Masses, Father Guido said.
