Msgr. Lawrence Frederick, rector at Catholic High School and chaplain at Mount St. Mary Academy in Little Rock, was honored as a 2025 Spark! Star by the Museum of Discovery during its Spark! Luncheon Oct. 27.
Each year, the Museum of Discovery recognizes leaders across Arkansas whose professional and community achievements embody innovation and the spirit of STEAM education. Msgr. Lawrence was one of eight honorees. While he began his career as an engineer for NASA, he has spent the past 59 years teaching science and leading students at Catholic high schools.
