The St. Jude Novena & Community Celebration will be held Oct. 18-27 at St. Jude Church in Jacksonville. On Sept. 18 the event will begin at 5 p.m. with a flag-raising ceremony, solemn procession into the church, novena prayer and Mass followed by fellowship in the parish hall. The novena will continue through Oct. 27 with daily Mass and prayer. On Oct. 25, St. Jude Community Celebration will include food, games, a costume contest and trunk or treat. On Oct. 28, the St. Jude Feast Day bilingual Mass will be celebrated at 6 p.m., followed by a potluck dinner.
