Madeleine Ann Baltz Throesch, 86, a member of St. John the Baptist Church at Engelberg, died Aug. 8. She is survived by her husband, Carlton Throesch; one son, Carlton “Sonny” Throesch, Jr. of Engelberg; three daughters, Cara Needham of Atlanta, Ga., Maris Taylor of Engelberg and Dr. Elizabeth Throesch of Hartford, Conn.; two brothers, Guy Baltz and Dr. Albert Baltz; three sisters, Rita Dust, Genie Harper and Janet Holt; 11 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
