Mark Ives, a member of the Diocese of Little Rock Task Force Against Human Trafficking and Pornography, gave a presentation to members of St. Joseph Church in Fayetteville May 18 and St. Joseph Church and St. Peter Church, both in Pine Bluff, June 8 on ways to protect your children from human trafficking and pornography. In Pine Bluff, the Catholic Daughters and the Knights of Columbus council hosted the event with lunch for the participants. The DOLR Task Force was started to bring awareness to families and individuals on the epidemic of pornography and the trafficking of persons. The next presentation will be given at Holy Cross Church in Sheridan Sunday, June 22 after the 9 a.m. Mass.
