Oscar Burney, a senior at Ozark Catholic Academy in Tontitown and member of Our Lady of the Ozarks Shrine in Winslow, signed a letter of commitment May 5 to enter the seminary in the fall. Bishop Anthony B. Taylor and vocations director Father Jeff Hebert attended the signing ceremony. Joining Burney at the ceremony were his parents, Mike and Emily Burney, and siblings. Current first-year seminarians, Parker Vail, Pedro Cervantes and Luke Parker and fourth-year seminarian Andrew Schaefer also attended the event to support Burney.
