Providence Park, a North Little Rock nonprofit working to provide support services and permanent housing for the homeless in Pulaski County, was awarded a $100,000 grant from CHI St. Vincent Common Spirit to improve community health and health equity. Funding will help with supplies and equipment needed for Providence Park’s on-site health clinic to provide residents with access to medical, mental health and dental care.

“Ensuring we have what we need to care for our neighbors, especially those coming from years of trauma, as they start their pathway to healing, is one of the many goals within Providence Park,” said Errin Stanger, founder and CEO of Providence Park. “Being able to serve this community through medical, mental health and dental care is a dream realized for our neighbors.”

Starting this winter, Providence Park in southwest Pulaski County plans to house 400 tiny homes with health care services and income opportunities for central Arkansas’ homeless.
