Fourth and fifth-grade students at Immaculate Conception School in Fort Smith have taken turns each Friday, working in small groups to prepare and serve lunch at a local homeless shelter. Principal Katie Hall said, “This meaningful experience has allowed our students to live out the teachings of Jesus and deepen their understanding of Catholic faith and our responsibility of service through compassionate action.”
