Lacey Vance (right) holds her dogs, Brown and Jetta, while first-grade students Natalie Rappold, 7, (left), Charlee Martin, 6, and Denver Lankford, 7, pet them in the courtyard of St. Joseph Elementary School in Conway Feb. 7. Vance, owner of Hounds Hideaway dog daycare and boarding facility in Conway and whose daughter is a student, brought her dogs and several Hound’s employees brought dogs for the students to interact with and learn about dog behavior. The visit was a reward for first- and second-grade students after they completed their standardized testing.
