St. Joseph High School senior Garry “Alex” Lehmkuhl in Conway was recently recognized by St. Joseph Boy Scout Troop 78 with the presentation of his Eagle rank. It’s the highest honor a Boy Scout can receive. He earned 55 merit badges in the process and also received six palm awards that are only given after completing Eagle Scout requirements.

For his Eagle Scout project, he improved the heating and air conditioning system in the St. Joseph Flea Market building. Alex is the son of Garry and Jeanne Lehmkuhl of Mayflower.
