Immaculate Conception Church in North Little Rock concluded its yearlong 75th anniversary with a series of events Dec. 8. The day began with 10:30 a.m. Mass celebrated by Bishop Anthony B. Taylor, with pastor Father Balaraju Desam, Father Phillip Reeves and Deacon Ed Sweeden joining in the liturgy. Following Mass, Bishop Taylor blessed the new columbarium and buried a time capsule to preserve the milestone year for future generations. The celebration concluded with an International Food Festival in the parish center, showcasing the cultural diversity of the parish families. Parishioners prepared dishes from around the globe.
