For the third straight year, Mount St. Mary Academy in Little Rock has been selected as the top private high school in the area in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette’s annual “Best of the Best Readers’ Choice Awards” competition. The honor was announced in a special section of the newspaper published Oct. 20. This marks the sixth time in three years the school has been voted #1. In addition to winning the Best Private High School category in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette’s contest, the girls’ school was also named the Best Private High School winner in Little Rock Soirée’s “Soirée Recommends 2024,” AY Magazine’s “Best of 2023” and Arkansas Times’ “Best of Arkansas 2022” readers’ polls.
