In preparation for Thanksgiving, St. Joseph School’s middle and elementary campuses in Conway designed ways for children to express their thanks for all that God has blessed them with. Art teacher Alisha Ragsland created a “thankful tree” in the middle school. The colorful leaves represented their blessings. The fourth through sixth graders wrote who or what they’re thankful for on each leaf. The elementary school decorated a paper turkey with tail feathers on which students wrote what they were thankful for.
