Belles do it again

One month after predicting in Arkansas Catholic that they would repeat as state champions, the Mount St. Mary Academy golf team made good on that prediction in dominating fashion.

The Belles followed up on their conference win by cruising to a 20-stroke victory for back-to-back 6A team titles. Rogers High School placed second and Conway was third.

Pacing the team were Lillie York and Chloe Freville, who came in second and third, respectively, in individual scoring. The duo also made the all-conference roster. Ana Bella Gutierrez tied for 10th individually at state.

The Belles are coached by first-year head coach Laura Freville.
