Father William Burmester, pastor of St. Edward Church in Texarkana, attended the Amazing Parish Summit in San Antonio in September along with members of his team, associate pastor, Father John Paul Hartnedy; youth director Loren Sanchez; parish leadership team member DeeDee Hayes and executive Coach Lori Ross. The Amazing Parish organization, founded by Pat Lencioni, provides leadership training and coaching support for parishes around the country to confidently lead and engage their teams to work together for the mission of Jesus.
