New postulants received in Jonesboro

The Olivetan Benedictine sisters of Jonesboro received Josie Nuñez and Laurie Nick as postulants Aug. 15. Nuñez, a member of Immaculate Conception Parish in Fort Smith, has worked for several years for the City of Fort Smith. Nick, formerly of Little Rock, was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in St. Francisville, La., and most recently served as the director of youth ministry for the Diocese of Shreveport.
