Conway staff attends Subiaco retreat

Forty-five Conway preschool, elementary, middle and high school teachers, administrators and staff went on a St. Joseph School retreat to Subiaco Abbey Aug. 12-13. The retreat was led by pastor Father John Connell and associate pastor Father Daniel Wendel. Its focus was to unify the staff for the school year in the belief that their vocation is a ministry that can bring teachers and students closer to God.

Topics included working with integrity, building relationships, leading by example and praying for students. Small-group discussions also took place where they examined the question: “How can I make my relationship with the Lord a focus this year with the hope it will have a lasting impact on me, my family and the students I encounter?”
