Pax Christi volunteers and families from Christ the King Church’s Catholic Youth Ministry met at St. John Center in Little Rock Aug. 7 to pack 332 backpacks with school supplies for all students at Washington Magnet School in Little Rock.The group enjoyed pizza and fellowship before packing the school supplies.
In addition to providing the packed backpacks, requested bulk supplies were also sent to St. Theresa School in Little Rock and North Little Rock Catholic Academy. It is the eighth year Pax Christi has organized the project.
