Formation Days in English, Spanish coming in September

The diocesan Faith Formation Office will host its Formation Days in English and Spanish around the diocese starting in September. Parish leaders and catechists are invited to attend. In the 2024-2025 Formation Days, participants. Participants will study the new translation of the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults, which goes into effect on Ash Wednesday. The new translation explains the process catechists will follow to fulfill the mission of bringing people into a relationship with Christ in communion with the Church. The cost will be $15 a person, which includes lunch and speaker stipends. The day will begin with check-in at 8 a.m. and finish with Mass in the afternoon.

The dates are:

  • Sept. 21: Church of St. John the Baptist, Hot Springs. The deadline to register is Sept. 2.
  • Nov. 16: St. John Church, Russellville. The deadline to register is Oct. 28.
  • Jan. 18, 2025: Holy Redeemer Church, El Dorado. The deadline to register is Dec. 30.
  • March 22, 2025: St. James Church, Searcy. The deadline to register is March 3, 2025.
  • May 10, 2025: St. Bernard of Clairvaux Church, Bella Vista. The deadline to register is April 21, 2025.
