Subiaco Abbey is hosting a Come and See retreat for single Catholic men 20 to 45 years old Dec. 27-30. It is open to anyone who has been thinking about following Christ as a member of a monastic community. Organizers said the best way to determine if God is calling you to the monastic way of life (and Subiaco in particular) is to visit the abbey. As a visitor, you can immerse yourself in Subiaco’s prayer and work. You can pray and eat with the monks and work alongside them to experience daily devotion and balance of prayer and work. For information, contact Brother Ambrose Fryer, assistant vocation director, at brambrose@subi.org or (479) 934-1027.
