The Jesus Bread of Life Chapter will host its next brunch, Saturday, Sept. 10 from 9 am to 12 pm at St. Joseph Church Spiritan Center in Conway, The guest speaker will be former pastor Father Brian Cundall. Father Cundall was born and raised in Little Rock,, although both of his parents, Yancy and Rose, grew up in Wyoming. Work brought his parents to Little Rock before he was born and his parents have been adopted Arkansans ever since. Father Brian has two younger siblings, Kenzie and Chase.
Growing up in Little Rock, Fr. Brian attended Christ the King Parish and School. He then went on to attend Catholic High. After graduating from Catholic High, Fr. Brian joined the seminary studying for the Diocese of Little Rock. He spent two years at Holy Trinity Seminary in Dallas, TX taking classes at the University of Dallas. He then finished his undergraduate degree in philosophy at Conception Seminary College in Missouri. Fr. Brian finished his last four years of seminary at St. Meinrad Seminary receiving a Masters in Divinity. He was ordained a priest of Jesus Christ May 29, 2021. He served as an associate pastor since his ordination at St. Joseph Church and is now the pastor of Christ the King Church in Fort Smith.
