How did you hear your calling to become a deacon? When observing the service that Deacons Silvestre Durán, Arturo Castrejón and Ronnie Hoyt provide our parish during a Mass with the community, the Lord touched my heart, and I felt him calling me to serve him in the same way. I shared this feeling in my heart with my family and God allowed the opening of a new program for diaconate formation.

Who have been the biggest influences in your diaconate formation? Bishop-elect Erik Pohlmeier, my spiritual director, Father Salvador Márquez-Muñoz and the diaconate formation team, Deacons Marcelino Luna, Ricardo Puello, César Villafranca and Marcelino Vásquez
