Assigned to: Christ the King, Little Rock

Employment: Arvest Bank Syndicated Banking

Wife: Neddie

How did you hear your calling to become a deacon? The call came during a time of very intense prayer as our family was struggling with sickness, suffering and multiple deaths of loved ones. God gave our family members peace and healing throughout this time of intense suffering and because of that consolation that was experienced, we have been called to share his saving peace and grace with others.

What ministries are you currently involved in? Previously, I've helped with RCIA in another parish, and I am now discerning between both RCIA and grief ministry at CTK, as the grief ministry program under Deacon Mike Rector was a large part of the healing process for our family when we were mourning the deaths of family members.

Who have been the biggest influences in your diaconate formation? Initially, my wife, Neddie, through her journey in RCIA with Bishop Francis I. Malone (formerly our pastor) and the rest of the RCIA team, were a big influence in our spiritual growth. Ultimately Bishop-elect Erik Pohlmeier, all of the priests and deacons at CTK, and the entire diaconate formation team have all had a major impact on our spiritual growth we've experienced during these past five years.
