On Friday, September 10, the Knights of Columbus Council 6419 in Hot Springs, Arkansas hosted their Fifth Annual Garland County Arkansas’ 1st Responders Celebration. The celebrated guests included the Hot Springs Police, Garland County Sheriff staff and EMT personnel. Included were the doctors and nurses from all three local hospitals who have worked tirelessly this past year to treat and cure Garland County patients.

A non-denominational memorial service was held in the church from 7:30-8 am and was led by Father George Sanders of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. It honored the victims and their families from the 9/11 tragedy.
