Ann Marie Gallegos, a member of St. Jude Church in Jacksonville, died April 30. She was 62. The wife of Deacon Ernie Gallegos, she was the director of Cursillo for the parish, a catechist for sixth-grade students, directed the RCIA program and served in various ministries at St. Jude and Holy Family Parish at the Little Rock Air Force Base. Other survivors include three daughters, Tina Evans, Elizabeth Yeats and Virginia Gonzales; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial was held May 7 at St. Jude Church, and she will be interned at the Arkansas State Veteran’s Cemetery at a later date.
