Bishop Anthony B. Taylor and local Catholics participated in Stations of the Cross outside the Planned Parenthood clinic in Little Rock March 12. A Scriptural Stations of the Cross for Life was attended by about a dozen people. White cardboard crosses were placed along the sidewalk and in the adjacent parking lot for each station. The stations continued into the parking lot of a dentist office next door. The dental office also allows the Arkansas Pregnancy Resource Center to park its ultrasound van next to the Planned Parenthood clinic to encourage those looking for a free ultrasound to stop in and visit with the staff.

Stations of the Cross was hosted by the diocese’s Respect Life Office to observe the 40 Days for Life, which ends on Palm Sunday, March 28. Pro-life supporters are invited to pray silently outside the clinic daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Usually 40 Days for Life is held outside the Little Rock abortion clinic, but this year organizers chose to pray in front of the Planned Parenthood clinic where chemical abortions take place.
