Pastoral appointments in Jacksonville, Pocahontas

Bishop Anthony B. Taylor announced the following pastoral appointments:

Effective Sept. 1

  • Rev. Martin Siebold appointed from administrator to pastor of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Jacksonville. He remains spiritual director of the English and Spanish Cursillo in the Diocese of Little Rock.
  • Rev. Rajasekhar Chittem appointed from administrator to pastor of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Booneville and St. Jude Thaddeus Church in Waldron.
  • Rev. Francis Madanu appointed from administrator to pastor of Immaculate Conception Church in Blytheville, St. Matthew Church in Osceola and St. Norbert Church in Marked Tree. This is a change to the pastoral appointment previously announced July 3. He is relieved of his responsibilities as associate pastor of Blessed Sacrament Church in Jonesboro and administrator of St. John Newman University Parish in Jonesboro as previously announced.
  • Rev. Stephen Elser, PhL, appointed from administrator to pastor of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Pocahontas, St. John the Baptist Church in Engelberg and St. Joseph the Worker Church in Corning.
