I was astonished at the cartoon in the Feb. 1 issue of Arkansas Catholic. Clearly someone in the Diocese of Little Rock disapproves of the British leaving the European Union. But is this appropriate matter for a diocesan newspaper? Many people have remarked on the frequent injection of politics into the paper. And we now to criticize British politics, too? What does this have to do with Catholicism in the first place?
