Children in Hot Springs jam out, learn about Scripture

Serenity Vise and Brianna Morales (front) strike the bars of their glockenspiels with their mallets while Elena French, Thor Fale and John Thomas Hall play the xylophones during music camp at St. Mary of the Springs Church in Hot Springs.

This is the third year Sheree O’Rorke, parish music director, has held the summer music camp. This year 14 children participated in the three-day program called “Jammin’ in the Spirit.” The children learn Scripture and how to use a variety of musical instruments.
