This year's St. Mary Church Annual Mardi Gras will be Friday, March 1 in the parish hall in Helena. The event features a shrimp boil (shrimp, potatoes, sausage, corn), coleslaw, king cake and drink for $15 per person. Carry-outs will be available. There will be a quilt raffle ($5 per ticket) with the drawing taking place during the event (need not be present to win), The popular Oyster Bar returns with oysters on the half-shell ($15 a dozen and $8 a half dozen).
