The Hot Springs Village Knights of Columbus Council 10208 held a highly successful seminarian fundraising event on Friday, July 27. This Taste of Faith dinner was attended by Bishop Taylor, a number of priests and seminarians and 240 Sacred Heart of Jesus parishioners.

The council raised $34,500 toward the education of future diocesan priests. It was a gala evening, with music supplied by Larry Womack. Newly ordained Father Patrick Friend gave a moving talk on the importance of the laity in the vocations process. The delicious dinner was topped off with Father Bill Elser's famous ice cream.
