Bishop leads Stations of the Cross outside abortion clinic

Bishop Anthony B. Taylor kneels while leading the Stations of the Cross March 9 in front of the abortion clinic in Little Rock as part of the spring 40 Days for Life campaign.

The scriptural Stations of the Cross used for the event was written for St. John Paul II in 1991. After the Stations, many Catholics stayed to pray quietly in front the clinic.

Respect life director Catherine Phillips said she met a young woman and her boyfriend that day who made an appointment to get an abortion the next week but changed their minds.
