The St. Boniface Lawn Social is celebrating 130 years Oct. 6-7 from 5-10 p.m. with great food, games, and live music.
What started as a church picnic in the late 1800s now draws thousands of local residents to St Boniface School each year.
The event has a silent auction in the Parish Hall. At the same time, the games, a wide variety of food, and entertainment get underway outdoors in Hilary Field. In addition to old classics like bingo, there will be special activities for young children, older kids, teens, and adults. Some activities include $10,000 in cash prizes, inflatables, train rides, crush a car and face painting. Also, several local bands will perform throughoutt the night.
