The 2017-2018 school calendar for central Arkansas Catholic schools was recently released by the Office of Catholic Schools.
- Aug. 16: First day of school
- Sept. 4: Labor Day, school closed*
- Sept. 29: Professional Day for teachers, school closed*
- Nov. 20-24: Thanksgiving break, school closed
- Dec. 18-Dec. 29: Christmas break, school closed
- Jan. 15: Martin Luther King Jr. Day, school closed*
- Feb. 19: Presidents Day, school closed*
- March 19-23: Spring break, school closed*
- March 30: Good Friday, school closed*
- May 28: Memorial Day, school closed*
- May 31: Last day of school
The calendar has two snow days included. Dates marked with an asterisk apply to all Catholic schools in the state. The first day and last days of school and Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks can vary across the state.
