Christ the King Women's Ministry will host nationally known Catholic author and speaker Lisa Brenninkmeyer Thursday, Feb. 2 at 6:30 p.m. She will be presenting "Brave and Beloved: Overcoming Fear"

Fears can hold us back – keeping us from our true purpose. They can also paralyze us and fill us with feelings of dread and panic. God wants us to be free from that way of living. We are God's beloved, and he wants us to be brave. Join us as we explore truths we can stand on and practical steps we can take when anxiety threatens our inner peace. Lisa will explore ways we can conquer our fears, allowing them to come under the control of God's loving hand.

Brenninkmeyer is the founder of Walking with Purpose, a national Catholic women's Bible study. She has authored "Walking with Purpose: Seven Priorities that Make Life Work" as well as seven Bible studies. Her speaking and writing are inspired by a desire to see women transformed as they realize how much God loves them. She lives with her husband Leo and their seven children in St. Augustine, Fla.
