Diocese will host eight ordination Masses in May, June

The Diocese of Little Rock will host eight ordination Masses in May and June. Receiving the sacraments will be seven men for the transitional diaconate, one man as a permanent deacon and five for the priesthood.

• On Wednesday, May 18 Martin Siebold will be ordained a transitional deacon at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in North Little Rock (Marche). A holy hour will be held at 4 p.m. followed by Mass at 6 p.m.

• On Thursday, May 19 Luke Womack will be ordained a transitional deacon at St. Mary Church in Hot Springs. The holy hour will begin at 4 p.m. followed by Mass at 6 p.m.

• On Friday, May 20 Ramses Mendieta will be ordained a transitional deacon at Immaculate Conception Church in North Little Rock starting with a holy hour at 4 p.m. followed by Mass at 6 p.m.

• On Tuesday, May 24 Michael Johns will be ordained a transitional deacon at Blessed Sacrament Church in Jonesboro starting with a holy hour at 4 p.m. followed by Mass at 6 p.m.

• On Wednesday, May 25 Stephen Hart and Matt Glover will be ordained at Christ the King Church in Little Rock starting with a holy hour at 4 p.m. followed by Mass at 6 p.m. Hart will become a transitional deacon while Glover, who is the diocese’s chancellor for canonical affairs, will become a permanent deacon.

• On Saturday, May 28 Dr. Joseph Chan, Mario Jacobo, Taryn Whittington, Norman McFall and Stephen Gadberry will be ordained to the priesthood at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Church in Little Rock. A holy hour will take place on Friday evening at Christ the King Church.

• On Wednesday, June 1 Daniel Ramos will be ordained a transitional deacon at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Benton starting with a holy hour at 4 p.m. followed by Mass at 6 p.m.

• On Thursday, June 2 William Burmester will be ordained a transitional deacon at St. Joseph Church in Conway starting with a holy hour at 4 p.m. followed by Mass at 6 p.m.
