Four recent deaths in Pocahontas

Regina Barthel Baltz, 85, a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Pocahontas, died Nov. 1. She is survived by seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Madonna Elaine (Thennes) Hoelscher, 90, a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Pocahontas, died Nov. 27. She is survived by two daughters, Dr. Linda Sanders of Jones, Okla., and Elizabeth Hoelscher of Oswego, N.Y.; two sons, James Hoelscher Jr. of Fayetteville and Joseph Hoelscher of Baldwin City, Kan.; her sister, Clara Price of Lawrence, Kan.; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and more than 30 nieces and nephews.

Gerald Michael Ungerank, 74, a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Pocahontas, died December 5.  He is survived by his wife, LaDeana Tyler Ungerank; one son, Wayne Ungerank of Russellville; four daughters, Debbie Grooms, Charlotte Tribble and Rebecca Tribble, all of Pocahontas, and Annette Bristow of Powhatan; three brothers, Frank Ungerank of Reyno, Urban Ungerank of Pocahontas and Harold Ungerank of Maynard; four sisters, Ruth Hesse of Pocahontas, Joyce Schmidt of Jonesboro, Marcella Pasierb of Little Rock and Florence Courtney of Marion; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Leona Owca Pecoraro, 82, a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Pocahontas, died Dec. 11. She is survived by two sons, F. David Pecoraro of Paragould and Tim Pecoraro of Ravenden; two granddaughters and a sister, Rita Cross of Illinois.
