Searcy KC council receives Columbian Award

Knights of Columbus Council #1194 has received the prestigious Columbian Award. KC District 7 Deputy Ron Wildman of Heber Springs presented the award during a special September council meeting in Searcy. Deputy Grand Knight Jim Palmer accepted the award. The Columbian Award is based on excellence in volunteer programming activities in church, community, council, family, culture of life and youth. The council also formally inducted three first degree members that evening. They were Jared Hanig, Lance Berberian and William Glynn.
