Bishop Anthony B. Taylor announced the following pastoral appointments:
Effective Oct. 1
- Rev. Les Farley appointed chaplain for St. Scholastica Monastery in Fort Smith and associate pastor for Spanish-language ministry at Christ the King Church in Fort Smith. He is relieved of his responsibilities as associate pastor of St. Joseph Church in Fayetteville.
- Rev. Elisée Nöel Njopmo, a priest of the Diocese of Fréjus-Toulon, France, appointed associate pastor of St. Joseph Church in Fayetteville, Shrine of Our Lady of the Ozarks in Winslow and Chapel of Sts. Peter and Paul in Lincoln.
- Rev. Juan Manjarrez appointed from administrator to pastor of St. Barbara Church in De Queen and St. Juan Diego Church in Wickes.
- Rev. Mauricio Carrasco appointed from administrator to pastor of St. Augustine Church in Dardanelle and St. Andrew Church in Danville. He remains associate pastor for Spanish-language ministry at St. John Church in Russellville.
Effective Dec. 1
- Rev. Jon McDougal relieved of his responsibilities as pastor of Sacred Heart of Mary Church in Barling and Sts. Sabina and Mary Church in Jenny Lind to transition to senior priest and chaplain for Mercy Crest Retirement Living Center in Barling.
- Rev. Matthew Garrison appointed pastor of Sacred Heart of Mary Church in Barling and Sts. Sabina and Mary Church in Jenny Lind upon completion of his deployment with the Air National Guard.
