Holy Souls School in Little Rock is rounding up alums from 68 graduating classes for the Ultimate Reunion May 2. Join in the celebration of the $2 million in the Monsignor Allen Trust and Development Fund’s coffers. Alums, family and friends are invited to return to Wabbit territory to meet and greet, mix and mingle and enjoy a meal together.
The Class of 1965 is celebrating its 50th reunion, and class members are working diligently to contact fellow classmates.
The reunion will commence with Mass at 4 p.m. in Holy Souls Church. An adults-only happy hour will follow from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., and the evening will conclude with a catfish dinner with all the trimmings prepared by members of the Holy Souls Men’s Club in the Allen Center from 6:30 to 10 p.m. During happy hour, the school will be open and guests are invited to view student artwork on display, including winners in each category, as well as the piece chosen for the school’s permanent collection.
Organizers are predicting a sell-out crowd because the next reunion is not scheduled until 2020. Tickets are $30 and may be purchased on the church’s website www.holysouls.org. Click on the MATDF link.
