On March 19, Joshua Michael Landers, son of Scott and Ruth Landers of North Little Rock, earned The Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout Award. Josh is a member of Troop 427, at Immaculate Conception Church in North Little Rock.
For his Eagle Scout Leadership Project, Josh planned and constructed the raised garden beds for the Community Gardens at St. Joseph’s Farm in North Little Rock. This project was completed with the help of volunteers from his Scout troop, the Youth Challenge Cadets at Camp Robinson and volunteers from St. Joseph’s Farm.
Josh is 17 years old and is a junior at Catholic High School for Boys in Little Rock. He is a member of the CHS swim team and drama club, and attends the Senior Catholic Youth Ministry at Immaculate Conception Church in NLR. He is a certified lifeguard and enjoys volunteering, swimming and cycling in his free time. Josh and his parents would like to extend their gratitude to Troop 427 and to Catholic High School for their guidance and example of leadership on his path to Eagle Scout.
