The Taste of Faith dinner held Aug. 10 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Little Rock attracted 567 people from across the state. This is the fourth year for the event, which supports diocesan seminarian education. A similar event in northwest Arkansas is in its third year. Among those addressing the crowd were Msgr. Scott Friend, director of the diocesan vocations office, shown here collecting tickets from guests for a drawing held at the end of the evening. Bishop Anthony B. Taylor also spoke, as did seminarians Stephen Gadberry and Luis Miguel Pacheo. Seminarians provided musical entertainment at the event, which grossed $220,000 in donations.
