At right, Jonathan Semmler of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Hot Springs Village joins his peers in sorting and packing canned food items at the Arkansas Foodbank in Little Rock.

Semmler was one of nearly 100 high schoolers, religious, seminarians and youth ministers from across the diocese learning about Catholic social teaching and performing community service work in the sixth annual Catholic Charities Summer Institute at St. John Center in Little Rock July 14-19.
