Dr. George S. Lensing Jr., a member of the Subiaco Class of 1958 and professor of English at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, spoke during the graduation at Subiaco Academy May 18 in the inner courtyard of the abbey.
The valedictorian was Matthew Tran and the salutatorian was Patrick Leavey. Leavey, son of Dr. Patrick Leavey and Dr. Vivian Roche-Leavey, plans to study pre-medicine at Rhodes College.
